1) Cloud Execution ? BrowserStack Setup

It is a cloud-based cross-browser testing tool that enables developers to test their websites across various browsers on different operating systems and mobile devices, without requiring users to install virtual machines, devices or emulators.

Steps & Configurations

1. Enter a Profile name.

2. Enter the Username of the BrowserStack account.

3. Enter the key provided by BrowserStack.

4. Enter the Password for the BrowserStack account.

5. Click on Validate button and it will be going to validate entered credentials.

6. Click on BrowserStack ? Configurations.

7. Select the BrowserStack Profile from the drop-down.

8. Enter Alias for BrowserStack account.

9. Select the OS and OS Version from the drop-down.

10. Select the Browser and Browser Version from the drop-down.

11. Click OK.

12. Select the profile and click on the Duplicate button to clone chosen profile.

13. Click on Apply.

2) Cloud Execution ? Sauce Labs Setup

7. Select the Sauce Labs Profile from the drop-down.

11. Click OK.

12. Select the profile and click on the Duplicate button to clone chosen profile.

13. Click on Apply.

2. Asynchronous Mail – Configure Mail Account with TestingWhiz to Send Test Reports through Mail. This mailing would be performed in an asynchronous way allowing users to take control of IDE immediately.

?   SMTP Server – Outgoing Mail Server details of the user's Email Address

?   SMTP Port – Port details of authorized user’s Email Address

?   Username & Password – User's server credentials to configure Email Address in TestingWhiz

?   To – Recipients Email Address

?   Subject– Subject of the Email

?   Message Content – Content of an Email (Optional)

?   Signature – Signature of User (Optional)

?   Send Test Mail – Click this to test whether an Email has been configured correctly or not

?   Apply – Click on it to confirm and save the changes

3. FTP – Setup FTP to Upload Files on Server

?   FTP Type – Click on Add and select Connection Type from the drop-down

Select a Protocol

?   SFTP Alias – Changes in Alias, Java Expression, and Input for Data Validation

?   Host Name – Enter the location (IP address) where the SFTP is to be hosted

?   Port – Enter the Port of the SFTP

?   Username & Password – Enter the Username & Password to authorize the SFTP

?   Edit – Click on it to do changes in any field of SFTP

?   Remove – Click on it to delete particular SFTP

?   Click OK.

?   Test Connection – Test the connectivity with the SFTP

?   Apply – Click on it to confirm and save the changes

4. Bug Tracking Tool – Configure Bug Tracking Tool Accounts to Post Bugs Directly from TestingWhiz

TestingWhiz provides integration with Atlassian JIRA, Mantis and FogBugz to help users for seamlessly report bugs and track the status thereof. The user can directly push failed test cases to the Defect Tracking Tools along with the captured screenshots.

Select any of the Bug Tracking Tools from Mantis, Jira, and FogBugz.

?   Select the Bug Tracking Tool as Mantis.

?   Alias – Click on Add and enter Alias of the Bug Tracking Tool

?   URL – URL of Bug Tracking Tool

?   Username & Password – Enter Username & Password to establish a connection with Mantis

?   Click OK.

?   Test Connection – Test the connectivity with the Bug Tracking Tool Mantis

?   Apply – Click on it to confirm and save changes

5. Test Management Tool – Configure Quality Center with TestingWhiz

TestingWhiz integrates Test Management Tools like HP Quality Center to help users to synchronize their test cases with it in real-time.

With these integrations, users can submit their defects, executed reports & test script directly to the Test Management tool of their choice and generate better visibility to track and manage your test cases.

Configuration ? Test Management Tool

?   Select the Quality Center from Test Management Tool.

?   Alias – Click on Add and enter Alias of the Test Management Tool (E.g. HP QC)

?   URL – URL of HP QC

?   Username & Password – Enter Username & Password to authorize Test Management Tool

?   Click OK.

?   Test Connection – Test the connectivity with the Test Management Tool

?   Apply – Click on it to confirm and save changes

6. SVN – Access Check-in, Check-out, Commit features for Team Collaboration

?   Alias – Click on Add and enter Alias name of the SVN connection 

?   URL – URL of Connection

?   Username & Password – Enter Username & Password to establish an SVN connection

?   Click OK.

?   Test Connection – Click Test Connection to test the SVN server connection

?   Apply – Click on it to confirm and save the changes
